Honeysuckle is the 2011 Color of the Year

Pantone has named Honeysuckle as the 2011 Color of the Year. Honeysuckle is a hot pink shade. Can you see adding the drama of this color into your wedding color scheme? Can you picture honeysuckle as a flower color? Picture the pop of color it would create against a black tux. Honeysuckle can also be used as an accent color in your decor. It is also a flattering color for bridesmaid dresses.

Here’s what www.Pantone.com stated on their website regarding bridesmaid dresses:

“A flattering hue for wedding attendant apparel and accessories, Honeysuckle is now one of the nearly 200 PANTONE WEDDING Colors available from Dessy, a leading manufacturer of bridesmaid, social-occasion and flower-girl dresses. PANTONE WEDDING exclusively from Dessy provides a collection of color tools to make it easy for brides to achieve perfectly color-coordinated weddings – from inspiration to “I do.” See www.dessy.com for more information.”
