This past weekend was my husbands birthday, and we had an incredible dinner at the Four Dogs Tavern in West Chester, PA. Our friend is a cook there, and he suggested we try the restaurant. What a treat. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. Everything we tried was so tasty. They even make their own pastries!
The owner, Dave, gave us a tour of the property. He is lovingly restoring the tavern. Also on the land is the Marshalton Inn. It is on the historic registry. I cannot believe that this beautiful gem was tucked away in the Brandywine Valley and I never knew of it.
I think it is a wonderful location for a rehearsal dinner and for small weddings. I was so impressed, I just had to share this information! Check out their website to learn more:
