I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Jackie and Steve on their wedding. It was a backyard delight. It was a tented wedding that had a lake as the backdrop. The day was absolutely magical.
I took this picture as the couple cut into their wedding cake. It was one of the homemade touches that made the wedding day uniquely Jackie and Steve’s.

The bridal party dressed in shades of yellow and blue. They were a perfect compliment to the colors of nature.
A file drawer held the programs as the hand painted sign below pointed the way to the ceremony.
Luggage tags served as place cards and an old suitcase was filled with pictures of Jackie and Steve.
A green tin offered fans to the ceremony guests and the favors were coffee filled burlap bags.
A Sangria Table was decorated with a wood painted sign. The food tables during the cocktail hour also had this artistic touch.
The beauty of the ceremony site that overlooked the lake, continued inside the tent. Fresh cut flowers, candles and wooden stands marked each table.
The color scheme of yellow and white captured the beauty of a summer wedding day.
The day became a magical evening as the lights came on in the tent. The guests danced late into the night as Jackie and Steve celebrated their wedding.
